Benjamin and Kate Agard
Field Director Trinidad and Tobago.

Open Bible began to minister in Trinidad in 1954 under the leadership of Kaare and Jean Wilhelmsen.

Several Open Bible missionaries served in Trinidad and developed the churches, the high school, and the Bible school.

The work continued with American missionaries until April 1972, when it was nationalized.

Open Bible currently has 86 churches in Trinidad with 14,494 members and 217 credentialed ministers.

There are three Bible institutes with 143 students, a radio broadcast, and a Christian high school.

The INSTE program, directed by Ann Marie Homer, has 230 students.

Open Bible Churches of Trinidad has sent missionaries to Grenada, Guyana, St. Vincent, Aruba, Venezuela, and Suriname, and also currently have credentialed ministers in Colombia and Bonaire.

Because of the atmosphere of missions fervor in OBSC–Trinidad, this location was chosen for the 2010 launching of the first School of Global Leadership, directed by missionaries Mike and Pam Lumbard.
