Popular culture and society-at-large has spent the past 40+ years denigrating, belittling, trivializing and marginalizing men – as fathers, husbands and leaders. It is our aim to provide men with an avenue and outlet that helps fulfill God's plans for them; in ways that complement how our Creator plumbed, wired and geared us to build with our hands while being wild in our hearts.
"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17
Men's small group studies and Christian education classes bring men together in an environment which fosters maturity and accountability. At Open Bible Christian Center, we put a high premium on discipleship. We believe you can never come to a place where you "know enough" about the Word of God.
The Mountain Plains Region has planned a retreat for MPR Men of Promise and Purpose Camp is July 26 -29 in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming near Buffalo. We are currently looking for a coordinator for the men's ministry for OBCC. If you are interested in a men's ministry at OBCC, contact Pastor Ron.
