GET INVOLVED

It is our desire at Open Bible Christian Center to impact our community for Christ. We want to make a difference in our community.

There are several areas that we use to reach Billings. There are several events that we sponsor each year as a community outreach. AMP'd Festival, June 8-9, Skateboard competitions and Christian concerts is held each summer at the Skateboard Park in Billings. Two days of music, food, fun, and sharing Christ at the Skate Board Park in downtown Billings. There will be pro-boarders who perform demonstrations, run a skateboard competition, and just hang out with the kids sharing Christ in their lives. Local bands will perform throughout the event. The winners of the skate competition receive skate boards, decks, or wheels. The event is free to the public. June 8 and 9, 2012 from 4 pm to 8 pm. There is a great need for workers and prayer warriors. We also need a coordinator.

Jubilee Celebration is held each year in August during the annual Crow Fair. Rev Pat and Sharon Stands have hosted Jubilee Celebration for over 20 years. They have evangelistic meetings in a tent each night of Crow Fair. They also provide 2 meals a day to anyone who would desire to be fed. They use the opportunity to tell of a Savior who is the bread of life. Would you partner with us to start a revival among the thousands who attend Crow Fair each year.

Annual Boy Scout Food Drive this event is held each year in the early spring. The Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops in Billings pick up food donations from their neighborhoods. We then sort and box the food to be distributed to the Rescue Mission, Women's and Children Center, as well as individuals needing a little help to put dinner on the table. There was 4,000 pounds of food collected this last year. You may bring in your contributions on Saturday, April 14 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Live Nativity is held each year the weekend before Christmas. It is an opportunity to reach out to the community to focus on the real reason for the season. Open Bible Christian Center has been performing the Live Nativity for over 12 years. It is visited by many every year It is scheduled for December 21 and 22, 2012.

Would you like to be part of a women's ministry or a men's bible study? We offer many options. Are you a prayer warrior or would like to become one? Prayer groups meet on Tuesday and Sunday evenings.

There are several ministries that you can get involved with. Do you like to work with children, or maybe youth? Would you like to become a prayer warrior? Can you drive a bus? Come get involved. We will find a place for you.

Outreaches, prayer meetings, bible studies, and more are available for you to grow and mature in the Lord.
